Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nameer Qasim Published his First Book at IEEE Xplore
Associate Professor Dr. Nameer Qasim, Professor of the Department of Cyber Security and Computer Engineering at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and currently a visiting professor at the Research Center of Cihan University – Sulaimaniya in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, has published his first book with IEEE. Collaborating with Professors Dr. Sergey Balandin and Dr. Jari Nurmi, their work appears in the “Proceedings of the 35th Conference of Open Innovations Association FRUCT,” held in Tampere, Finland, from April 24-26, 2024, with ISBN: 978-952-65246-1-0.
The FRUCT proceedings are open access, freely available for download from the FRUCT catalog, Zenodo, and DOAJ. Full papers are submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, contingent upon meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements, and are indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, ACM, DBLP, RSCI (included in the VAK list), and Google Scholar. Additionally, the full papers issue is indexed in Scimago Journal Rank, AMiner, and CORE. Work in Progress and Short papers are published in the second issue of each volume, also with open access status and available for free download from the FRUCT catalog, Zenodo, and DOAJ, though their indexing is limited.
The selection and preparation process for the FRUCT proceedings (ISSN 2305-7254) adheres to the formal requirements for IEEE journals. The conference serves as an official defense of the papers, akin to a thesis defense.

На виконання Меморандуму між КНУБА та Університетом Джихан Сулейманія (Ірак), за результатами проведеної Міжнародної науково-практичної конференції “Новітні технологічні тенденції інтелектуальної індустрії та Інтернету речей” відібрані статті були опубліковані в виданні, яке індексується в Scopus. Організували проведення конференції, відбір статей, рецензування та публікацію в IEEE Xplore завідувач кафедри кібербезпеки та комп’ютерної інженерії, професор Юрій Хлапонін та професор кафедри Намір Касім. Доцент, доктор Намір Касім, опублікував свою першу книгу в IEEE Xplore. У співпраці з професорами доктором Сергієм Баландіним та доктором Ярі Нурмі, їхня робота з’явилася у «Праці 35-ї конференції Асоціації відкритих інновацій FRUCT», яка відбулася в Тампере, Фінляндія, з 24 по 26 квітня 2024 року, з ISBN: 978-952-65246-1-0.
Матеріали FRUCT є з відкритим доступом і безкоштовно доступні для завантаження з каталогу FRUCT, Zenodo та DOAJ. Повні статті подаються для включення до IEEE Xplore, за умови відповідності вимогам обсягу та якості IEEE Xplore, і індексуються Scopus, Web of Science, ACM, DBLP (включено до списку ВАК) та Google Scholar. Крім того, випуск повних статей індексується в Scimago Journal Rank, AMiner та CORE.
Процес відбору та підготовки матеріалів FRUCT (ISSN 2305-7254) відповідає офіційним вимогам журналів IEEE.
Конференція служить офіційним захистом статей, подібно до захисту дисертації.
